Why Steven Ogg Hates Being Called Trevor

In a series of candid interviews and fan interactions, actor Steven Ogg addressed the viral rumor that he "hates" his iconic Grand Theft Auto V character, Trevor Philips.
.
Ogg clarified that he doesn't actually hate the character or the game itself.
.
However, as a working actor, he finds it incredibly frustrating when fans constantly address him as "Trevor" rather than by his real name, or treat him like a fictional cartoon instead of a real person.
.
He explained that while he's grateful for the massive role, being pigeonholed by an unhinged video game character can hurt his chances of getting diverse acting roles in mainstream film and television.
.
Seeing Steven Ogg remind fans that he's a real-life human actor and not a digital psychopath living in a video game is pure gold. #stevenogg #trevorphilips #gtav #gta5 #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #celebritystories #gaming.
