《머무는 자리》는 국립현대미술관 과천 야외조각공원에 축적된 40년의 시간과 장소성 위에 오늘의 감각과 경험을 더하는 프로젝트입니다. 김하늘, 방효빈, 임정주, 하지훈, 황형신 5인의 작가는 관람객이 직접 앉고 기대며 머물 수 있는 ‘앉을 수 있는 조각’을 통해 기존의 조각 작품과 자연, 관람객의 경험을 새롭게 연결합니다.
푸른 잔디와 나무 사이로 작품이 하나둘 자리를 잡고, 익숙했던 조각공원에 또 다른 풍경이 만들어집니다. 자연과 작품이 서로 어우러지며 《머무는 자리》가 완성되어 가는 설치 과정을 영상으로 만나보세요.
Lingering Grounds is a project that brings new perspectives and experiences to the forty years of history embedded in MMCA Gwacheon’s Sculpture Park. Kim Haneul, Bang Hyobeen, Im Jungjoo, Ha Jihoon, and Hwang Hyungshin present sculptures to sit on, inviting visitors to sit, lean, and linger while creating new connections between the existing sculptures, the natural landscape, and the visitors’ bodily experience.
As each work finds its place among the trees and green landscape, a new scene gradually emerges across the familiar Sculpture Park. Discover the installation process of Lingering Grounds, where art and nature come together to reshape the landscape.
