주작단 시즌2 세 번째 에피소드는 대한민국 3대 명주 감홍로의 주인공, 식품명인 제43호 이기숙 명인을 만납니다.
평안도에서 3대째 양조장을 운영하던 가문이 전쟁으로 월남하고, 양곡관리법으로 술을 멈춘 아버지. 30년 후 무형문화재가 된 아버지의 뒤를 이어 오빠가 감홍로를 시작했지만, 오빠가 세상을 떠나며 600년 전통이 단절될 위기를 맞습니다. 앞에 나서는 성격이 못 된다던 작은 소녀가 남편과 주변의 도움으로 용기를 내어 다시 일으켰습니다. 1년에 1억씩 적자를 보며 10년을 버틴 끝에, 오늘 감홍로는 대한민국을 대표하는 명주가 됐습니다.
"제 코끝에 호흡이 있는 날까지." 이기숙 명인의 한마디가 오늘도 감홍로를 빚게 합니다.

Season 2, Episode 3 — we meet Master Lee Gi-suk, Korean Food Master No. 43 and the keeper of Gam Hong Ro, one of Korea's three great historic liquors.
Her family ran a three-generation brewery in Pyeongan Province, until the Korean War forced them south. Her father — later designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage holder — stopped brewing when grain was banned under post-war regulations. Decades later, her brother took up Gam Hong Ro and began to carry the legacy forward — until he passed away, and the lineage was broken. A woman who never saw herself as someone to step into the spotlight found the courage, with the support of her husband and those around her, to begin again. Ten years of running at a loss. And today, Gam Hong Ro stands as one of Korea's most beloved traditional spirits.
"Until the breath leaves my body." That is Master Lee Gi-suk's answer — and it is why Gam Hong Ro endures.
