索尼的終結！TCL如何接管它的電視業務？

2004 年索尼 Qualia 005 電視就實現原生三色 LED 背光，卻將技術鎖在高端昂貴機型。TCL 早年併購湯姆森判斷失誤慘遭巨額虧損，痛定思痛投入鉅資成立華星光電，掌握面板核心產能。時至今日，曾經的頂尖三色背光演化為 RGB MiniLED，被中國廠商大規模普及。索尼電視業務盈利壓力加大，最後與 TCL 合資成立新公司，TCL 取得多數股權掌握營運控制權，僅保留索尼畫質演算法。這場產業更迭說明：能夠發明技術固然厲害，但大規模量產、把高階技術平民化，同樣是至關重要的產業實力。

Back in 2004, Sony’s Qualia 005 TV realized native three‑color LED backlight, yet the technology was confined to expensive high‑end models. TCL suffered heavy losses from its ill‑judged acquisition of Thomson. After painful lessons, TCL invested heavily to establish CSOT and mastered core panel production capacity. Today, the pioneering three‑color backlight has evolved into RGB Mini‑LED and is widely popularized by Chinese manufacturers. Facing profit pressure in its TV division, Sony set up a new joint venture with TCL. TCL holds the majority share and operational control, while Sony keeps its image‑processing algorithms. This industrial shift shows: inventing technology is impressive, yet mass‑production and making high‑end technology affordable are equally critical industrial strengths.
