단순한 디자인을 넘어, 방수와 환기까지 고려해 완성하는 사우나.

이번 베벌리힐즈 프로젝트는
욕실 안에 사우나를 계획했습니다.

일반 욕실보다 훨씬 많은 습기가 발생하는 공간이기 때문에,
방수와 환기 계획이 무엇보다 중요하고

사용하지 않는 시간에도 습기가 남지 않도록 배기 시스템까지 함께 고려해야 합니다.

그래서 마감재를 정하기 전에 구조와 설비부터 검토했고,

방수와 환기, 배기 시스템까지 충분히 확인한 뒤 사우나의 형태와 마감을 계획했습니다.

보이지 않는 곳까지 꼼꼼히 설계해야 비로소 공간은 완성됩니다.

Beyond design,
a sauna is complete only when waterproofing and ventilation are carefully considered.

For this project,
we incorporated a private sauna within the bathroom.

As a space that generates significantly more moisture than a typical bathroom,
careful planning of waterproofing and ventilation was essential.

We also considered an exhaust system to ensure that moisture would not remain even when the sauna was not in use.

Before selecting the finishes,
we first reviewed the structure and building services, then developed the sauna’s form and finishes only after thoroughly verifying the waterproofing,
ventilation, and exhaust systems.

A space is truly complete when even the details that remain unseen are thoughtfully designed.
