Most‑traditional‑cities adopt passive‑governance, responding to troubles only after they occur. Xiongan New‑Area breaks old‑city‑building frameworks. A city‑computing‑center is built in the planning‑phase, aggregating sensor‑data across the whole city and breaking departmental‑information‑silos. AI enables pre‑risk‑prediction. On‑ground facilities include smart traffic‑lights and vehicle‑road‑coordinated autonomous‑driving. Underground utility‑corridors solve repeated‑road‑digging problems. A 1‑to‑1 digital‑twin virtual‑city simulates construction‑solutions virtually before real‑world‑implementation. Government‑services support zero‑in‑person‑visits and non‑percept‑approval, meanwhile manual‑windows are reserved for elderly‑groups. The video objectively notes that hardware‑technology solves infrastructure‑problems, while urban‑vitality and sense‑of‑belonging take time to accumulate. Xiongan represents a new‑city‑building‑logic: “build tech‑skeleton first, then grow urban‑fabric”, offering a reference‑model for global‑urbanization.
