We went inside and I noticed right away that the place was packed. All the tables were occupied and it didn’t look like anyone was leaving anytime soon. So, I turned to my friend and just as I was about to suggest trying a different place, he went over to this old couple at a table and asked if we could share the table with them. I was like “What the hell are you doing? Are you crazy?”. That’s rude, right? I mean, I found that really inappropriate. But, to my surprise, the couple were very cool with it, so we sat right next to them. I mean, I still found that kind of awkward, but it turns out my friend does that all the time.
