At the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park lies a magnificent forest that has stood the test of time for thousands of years—Mariposa Grove. This remarkable grove is home to Yosemite’s giant sequoia forest, where more than 500 massive giant sequoia trees thrive. Some of these ancient giants are believed to be over 2,000 years old, having lived through a span of time almost beyond human imagination. Standing beneath these towering trees, one cannot help but feel humbled by their immense age, size, and enduring presence.
