2,977 lights for 2,977 lives - Drones recreate Twin Towers over New York ahead of 9/11 anniversary

A vast drone display briefly returned the Twin Towers to New York's skyline on Wednesday night, ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Footage shows hundreds of drones taking off over New York Harbor before 2,977 lights form full-scale outlines of the Twin Towers against the Manhattan skyline, with each light representing a life lost in the attacks.
