Finding a Future in Climate Action at Duke

For Pranav Hooda, Project Earth started as a way to connect with other students who cared about sustainability. Four years later, it has become a community he calls family — and an experience that has helped shape his future.

Now a Project Earth director, Pranav helps incoming Duke students build connections while introducing them to the many ways they can engage with climate and sustainability on campus. Along the way, he discovered that his own path could extend beyond science and research to public policy and nonprofit work.
