광주미디어아트플랫폼(이하 G.MAP)은 2026년 5·18 민주화운동 기념 전시로 《완전한 것들의 틈》을 개최한다. 이번 전시는 5·18 민주화운동의 정신을 현대적 관점에서 새롭게 해석할 수 있는 자리가 되고자 마련했다. 이를 위해 동시대 작가들의 작품에서 현대 사회, 과거와 현재까지 역사 중 한 지점을 포착하고 거기서 경험했거나 관철하고자 하는 바를 보여준다.

Gwangju Media Art Platform (hereafter G.MAP) presents The Gap Within The Whole as its 2026 commemorative exhibition for the May 18 Gwangju Democracy Movement. This exhibition has been organized as an opportunity to reinterpret the spirit of the May 18 Gwangju Democracy Movement from a contemporary perspective. To this end, it brings together works by contemporary artists that capture pivotal moments in history—past and present—and reveal what was experienced, endured, or pursued at those moments.
