Expert: Rethinking the value of engagement with China

As the China-US summit approaches, attention is turning to the future of bilateral economic and trade ties and broader cooperation. A cautious, risk-managed approach to engagement and cooperation with China is far more beneficial than cutting off engagement altogether, Jiang Wenran, founding director of the China Institute at the University of Alberta and president of the Canada-China Energy and Environment Forum, told CGTN.
