Otter Family Drives Off a Giant Caiman #otter #wildlife #animals #wild

They call them the river wolves. A giant otter family rules this stretch of the Amazon. At dawn the whole family pours into the water to hunt as one, hauling out giant catfish and teaching the pups the ways of the river. But a black caiman stalks their den and the family vanishes inside to hide. When the giant will not leave, the otters burst from the water screaming and drive it away. Days later at a hidden lake, a jaguar sets its sights on a straying pup. The pup escapes by a whisker and the family screams the great cat back into the forest. One family against the Amazon's deadliest predators.
