Nebraska Trump Governor CAUGHT Undermining Trump's AGENDA!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian break down a joint New York Times and Flatwater Free Press investigation finding that Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen's hog empire, Pillen Family Farms, has employed undocumented workers for more than a decade — even as Pillen built his reelection campaign on Trump's rhetoric about "criminal illegal aliens" who've "invaded our country." Pillen, ranked 14th on the pork industry's "Pork Powerhouse" list with roughly 100 hog farms and 1,200 employees across four states and Canada, directed the Nebraska State Patrol to partner with ICE under the 287(g) program and opened a detention facility nicknamed the "Cornhusker Clink" — all while at least 20 of his farms employed undocumented labor, according to court records and interviews with more than 40 current and former employees. Brian and Shant highlight the report's most damning details: more than a dozen Pillen workers were charged with using fake or stolen identification between 2015 and 2024, nine were convicted, and former employees describe false names as an "open secret" at the farms, with one manager reportedly accepting a purchased fake driver's license. Pillen's company didn't enroll in E-Verify, the federal system for checking work eligibility, until the exact day Pillen announced his 2021 run for governor — timing Brian and Shant call more than coincidental. ICE has no record of auditing or inspecting any Pillen facility in the past 15 years. Brian and Shant tie this to the broader hypocrisy of the mass-deportation movement: undocumented workers fill grueling, dangerous farm and slaughterhouse jobs that few Americans want, and pushing them out would either raise consumer prices or crush small operators. Brian's bottom line: Pillen wants illegal immigrants deported everywhere except his own hog farms, and Donald Trump's endorsement of him proves the hypocrisy runs all the way to the top.
