LaMelo’s Lifelong 2K OBSESSION… 😂🏀

LaMelo Ball has basically been playing NBA 2K his entire life, and now he gets to load into the game as himself. When LaMelo was recently asked if he actually uses himself in 2K, he admitted he does, because being able to play as your own character is just too cool. But Melo isn’t just casually hopping on the sticks either, he’s been cooking streamers, hitting ridiculous shots, throwing down dunks and showing that his flashy style translates perfectly from the NBA court to NBA 2K. The craziest part is that this goes WAY back. Before the NBA, before becoming Rookie of the Year, an NBA All-Star and one of basketball’s most entertaining point guards, a young LaMelo was already battling his brother Lonzo Ball on 2K. More than a decade later, Melo has gone from the Chino Hills phenom and youngest Ball brother to an NBA superstar, spending six seasons with the Charlotte Hornets before beginning a new chapter alongside Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. LaMelo’s game has always looked like something straight out of 2K, deep threes, ankle-breaking handles, no-look passes, transition lobs and ridiculous highlights, which makes his lifelong love for the game even more fitting. From playing 2K with Lonzo as a kid to playing as HIMSELF and destroying streamers today, LaMelo Ball really turned the video game into real life.
