When Larry The Cable Guy Put On 1700 Pounds To Play Mater

Larry the Cable Guy shared a hilarious story about his bizarre preparation for voicing Tow Mater in Pixar's animated movie Cars. When he was told he was going to play a tow truck in the film, the comedian decided to commit completely to the role. Taking method acting to an unbelievable extreme, he actually put on 1,700 pounds to fit the heavy frame of a real vehicle. However, his total commitment turned to complete embarrassment when he finally realized the movie was just an animated cartoon. Seeing Larry the Cable Guy gain 1,700 pounds for a movie role before realizing it was a cartoon is pure gold. #larrythecableguy #cars #pixar #towmater #hollywood #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories
