Anti allergic soap bar │ Cold Process soap │ 환절기에 좋은 비누 만들기

Hello this is Dio.
The weather in Korea is heading towards winter.
Around this time, my father always suffers from dry skin
and stuffy nose making it hard for him to breathe.
It's a little late for this but I made soap with an oil combination that fits my father's skin type,
and eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils in hopes that it would help with the plugged nose.
The added Prickly cactus pear powder didn't mix in so well because it had a lot of moisture,
but I decided it wouldn't affect the use of soap, so I dried them as is.
The design didn't turn out to be beautiful, but I still think it became a charming pattern.

한국의 날씨는 지금 환절기를 지나 겨울을 향하고 있습니다.
그리고 항상 이맘때쯤이면 저희 아버지께서는 피부가 심각하게 건조해지고, 비염이 재발하면서 호흡이 불편한 상황을 만나곤 하시죠.
조금 늦었지만 아빠의 피부에 잘 맞는 오일구성으로 보습을,
유칼립투스와 티트리 에센셜오일을 첨가해 호흡기의 상쾌함을 기대하며 비누를 만들었어요.
백년초 파우더에 습기가 있어서 제대로 풀어지지 않았지만, 사용하는데엔 지장이 없다고 판단되어 그대로 건조시키기로 했답니다.
디자인은 예쁘게 나오지 않았지만, 그런대로 매력있는 무늬가 완성된 것 같아요.

※ Let's start with the things to be cautious about.

1. Sodium Hydroxide ( NaOH=40.00) is highly alkalic. Please ensure you put on your gloves, safety glasses, and mask at all time to prevent any burns.

2. Please put NaOH into the liquid. Not other way around. (NaOH = Solute, Liquid = Solvent)

3. When using dairy products such as breast milk or milk, please regularly check the temperature of the liquid-NaOH mixture to make sure the temperature doesn't go above 40˚C.

4. Do not touch the soap mixture with bare hands.

5. The finished soap cannot be used immediately. It can be used after six to seven weeks of drying and fermenting in shady and windy place.

※비누 만들기 전 주의사항

1. 가성소다는 강알칼리성 물질이므로 환기가 잘 되는곳에서 작업을 하시고,
반드시 장갑과 안경, 마스크를 착용하여 화상을 입지 않도록 주의하셔야 합니다.

2. 반드시 액체에 가성소다를 넣으셔야 합니다.
반대로 넣으실 경우 내용물이 튀어 화상의 위험이 있습니다.

3. 모유나 우유와같은 유제품을 사용하 실 경우 가성소다를 섞었을 때 40˚C 이상 올라가지 않도록
온도체크를 틈틈히 해주세요.

4. 비누반죽은 강알칼리성 상태이므로 절대 맨손으로 만지지 마세요.

5. 완성된 비누는 비누화의 안정이 되어있지 않으므로 곧바로 사용할 수 없습니다.
약 6주에서 7주동안 그늘지고 바람이 잘 통하는곳에서 충분한 건조와 숙성을 거친 후에 사용하세요.
