Was Not Expecting That Ending

Stephen King shared a hilarious story about a wild horror concept he had for a plot set in the ladies' room at Stapleton Airport. In his outline, a woman goes into the restroom while her husband waits outside, but she never comes back out. As more waiting husbands gather, one brave man steps inside, only for bloodcurdling screams to ring out as the door slides closed. The situation rapidly escalates to involve airport security, the FBI, the governor, and the army, but everyone who goes in vanishes. However, despite the incredible buildup, the horror master had to scrap the project. Seeing Stephen King construct a massive national emergency over an airport restroom only to admit he never figured out what was inside is pure gold. #stephenking #horror #books #writing #stapletonairport #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories
