냉장고 깊숙이 뭐가 있었더라? 싹 꺼내 정리한 날 | What’s Hiding in My Fridge?

냉장고는 꽉 찼는데, 손이 가는 음식은 늘 앞에 있는 것들.
깊숙이 넣어 둔 음식은 눈에 안 보이니 자꾸 잊어버리게 됐습니다.

오늘은 날을 잡아 안에 있는 음식을 모두 꺼내고 냉장고 구석구석을 청소했습니다. 무엇이 남아 있는지 살펴보고, 먼저 먹어야 할 음식도 다시 챙겼습니다. 좋은 음식을 사 오는 것만큼, 사 놓은 음식을 잊지 않고 잘 먹는 것도 중요하니까요.

미뤄 둔 일을 끝내니 속이 시원했습니다.
밖으로 나와서는 초록 잎 사이에 핀 보라색 나팔꽃에 잠깐 눈길을 빼앗겼습니다. 그리고 묵직한 운동 조끼를 입고 동네를 걸었습니다.

집안일을 위한 시간, 예쁜 꽃을 바라보는 시간, 내 몸을 위해 걷는 시간.
평범한 하루지만 이렇게 제 생활과 저 자신을 챙겼습니다.

해야 할 일은 계속 생겨도, 나를 돌보는 시간을 맨 뒤로 미루지는 않으려고 합니다. 🌿

My fridge was full, but I kept reaching for whatever was right in front. The food tucked away in the back was too easy to forget.

So I finally took everything out and gave the fridge a thorough cleaning. I checked what I had and brought the foods that needed to be eaten first back into view. Taking care of the food I already bought matters just as much as choosing good food at the store.

With that chore done, I headed outside. Beautiful purple morning glories caught my eye, and I stopped for a moment to enjoy them before heading out for a neighborhood walk in my weighted vest.

A little cleaning, a moment with the flowers, and some time to move my body. Just an ordinary day of taking care of my home and myself.

There will always be more to do. I’m making room for myself along the way. 🌿
