A new tool is available now to help women decide whether egg freezing is right for them.

Women considering egg freezing now have access to an independent, evidence-based tool developed by experts from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences at UniMelb and The Royal Women's Hospital to help them make an informed decision.

Our research found that 78% of women who had considered egg freezing experienced high ‘decisional conflict ’, meaning they struggled to decide whether to freeze their eggs.

Egg freezing decisions aren’t simple. They involve weighing the treatment required now with planning for an uncertain future.
