In a clash between the founder of the UFC’s BMF title and BKFC’s “King of Violence,” it was Mike Perry who ruled the night, battering Nate Diaz and forcing his corner to stop the fight after Round 2.

Perry unleashed a savage beating, leaving Diaz bloodied and unable to answer the bell for Round 3. It was a brutal ending for the cult hero, who was making his MMA return after nearly four years.

“I hit him with really good shots,” Perry said. “I was getting really tired, but I kept hitting him. He’s tough, and there’s no quit in him. We got the job done tonight.”

Since leaving the UFC in 2021, Perry has rebuilt his career through bare-knuckle fighting, going 6-0 in BKFC with victories over Michael “Venom” Page, Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens while capturing the “King of Violence” title. His boxing detour ended in 2024 with a knockout loss to Jake Paul.
