Shanghai ports work resiliently to handle vessels and TEUs amid repeated typhoons

Shanghai’s two major container hubs resumed operations on Friday afternoon as Typhoon Saudel weakened, shortly after Typhoons Bavi and Dolphin had swept across Shanghai and neighbouring Zhejiang province in very short intervals.

Eastern China faces a particularly active period of severe weather, with multiple storms affecting the region this summer due to a super El Niño.
