Dozens killed in two separate mass shootings in South Africa | DW News

27 people have been killed in two mass shootings in South Africa. One near Johannesburg, the other outside Cape Town. Police say eight gunmen, armed with assault rifles, stormed a bar on Saturday evening in Wedela township west of Johannesburg, killing 17 people and wounding 15. Hours later, gunmen opened fire at an entertainment venue in a township outside Cape Town. There, ten people were killed and eleven wounded.
