沿用 170 年的鋼纜電梯存在先天物理局限，高度受鋼纜自重限制、還會佔用大量樓層面積。新型無繩磁驅電梯捨棄鋼纜，參考磁浮原理，可單井道多機運行，甚至能夠橫向移動，重塑高樓建築邏輯。這項技術的亞洲測試塔設在中國，憑藉龐大市場與完整產業鏈，我國迎來電梯賽道換道超車機遇，但成本、法規標準、維護體系、大眾信任仍是普及的重大阻礙。

The 170‑year‑old cable‑driven elevator has inherent physical limitations. Its maximum height is restricted by cable weight and it takes up plenty of floor space. The new rope‑free magnetic‑driven elevator gets rid of steel cables. Inspired by maglev technology, multiple cabs can run in one shaft and even move horizontally, reshaping the logic of high‑rise building design. Its Asian test tower is built in China. Thanks to the huge domestic market and complete industrial chain, China gets a chance to achieve leapfrog progress in the elevator industry. Yet high costs, regulatory standards, maintenance systems and public trust remain big obstacles for widespread use.
