His Mom Doesn't Understand He's Acting

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Damson Idris shared a hilarious story about how his Nigerian mother struggled to understand the concept of acting.
.
When Idris booked his breakout role as kingpin Franklin Saint in Snowfall, his mother would watch the intense crime drama and genuinely panic, thinking her son had actually gotten involved in dodgy dealings in real life. Idris explained how he had to repeatedly call her to clarify that it was all fake television work—though he joked that even after explaining he was just performing, she still questioned his screen kisses and warned him to stay out of trouble.

Seeing Damson Idris have to constantly reassure his Nigerian mom that he isn't actually a kingpin in real life is pure gold. #damsonidris #snowfall #jimmyfallon #franklinsaint #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories.
