밀린 집안일을 하나씩 해결하며 시작한 시골집의 하루 🏡
여름 더위에 흘러내린 이케아 DIY 거울을 다시 붙이고, 뒷마당을 점령한 호박 덩굴도 정리했어요. 끝물인 방울토마토와 손바닥만큼 커진 바질도 수확하고요 🌿
오늘의 집밥은 건강하면서도 맛있게!
병아리콩을 푹 삶아 크림처럼 부드러운 후무스를 만들고, 오트밀로 피타브레드도 구웠어요. 텃밭에서 수확한 신선한 채소로 그릭 스타일 샐러드를 만들고, 향긋한 바질 페스토에 바삭한 프로슈토와 피스타치오를 더해 쿠스쿠스 요리도 완성했답니다.
촉촉하게 구운 프렌치랙 양갈비에 후무스와 샐러드를 곁들이고, 샴페인 떼땡져 한 잔까지 🥂
정성껏 만든 음식을 맛있게 먹는 순간이야말로 집순이의 가장 큰 행복이 아닐까요? ㅎㅎ
끝나지 않을 것 같던 무더위도 지나가고, 어느새 선선한 가을바람이 불어오네요.

A cozy day in the Korean countryside, catching up on chores and enjoying some delicious homemade food 🏡
I started the day by fixing my IKEA DIY mirror that had slipped down in the summer heat, then headed out to the garden to tame the pumpkin vines that had taken over the backyard. I also harvested the last of my cherry tomatoes and some giant, fresh basil leaves 🌿
Today's menu is all about healthy food that's too delicious to resist!
I made silky, creamy hummus from scratch, baked homemade oatmeal pita bread, and prepared a fresh Greek-style salad with vegetables from my garden. I also made basil pesto couscous with crispy prosciutto and pistachios.
For the main course, I served juicy, perfectly cooked rack of lamb with hummus and fresh salad, paired with a glass of Taittinger Champagne 🥂
After spending the day cooking, there's nothing better than sitting down to enjoy a delicious homemade meal. These little moments are what make my quiet countryside life so special :)
The endless summer heat is finally fading, and a cool autumn breeze is in the air.
