Almost all current air‑conditioners still adopt compression refrigeration invented 120 years ago, which brings high power consumption, noise, temperature fluctuation, troublesome installation, refrigerant pollution and maintenance traps. This video tells how a Chinese R&D team overcame material bottlenecks to develop the compressor‑free, refrigerant‑free and outdoor‑unit‑free Cold‑Core system based on solid‑state thermoelectric cooling.
