대문에서 현관까지 이어지는 길,
그냥 지나치는 공간이라고 생각하셨나요?

작년에 파이어 피트가 있는 원형 벽돌 바닥과 연결해
셀프로 시공했던 디딤석, 기억하시죠?

디딤석을 놓고 나니 이 공간의 분위기가 정말 많이 달라졌는데요.
어디서나 볼 수 있는 뻔한 패턴보다는
우리 집만의 조금 더 특별한 공간을 만들고 싶었어요.
결과는 대만족!

그래서 이번에는 현관에서 대문까지 이어지는 길에
우리 집 첫인상을 바꿔줄 셀프 디딤석 정원길을 만들어봤습니다.

그리고 디딤석 사이를 예쁘게 채워줄
잔디 대신 심어도 좋고, 밟아도 끄떡없는 지피식물 4가지도 소개해드릴게요 🌿

Have you ever thought of the path from your gate to your front door as just a walkway?

Do you remember the stepping stones I installed myself last year, connected to the circular brick patio with the fire pit?

After adding the stepping stones, the whole atmosphere of this space completely changed.
I didn’t want a common, ordinary pattern that you see everywhere.
I wanted to create a more special space that feels uniquely ours.
And I’m so happy with the result!

So this time, I created a DIY stepping stone garden path that connects the entrance and the gate, transforming the first impression of our home.

I’ll also introduce 4 ground cover plants that are perfect for filling the spaces between the stones — beautiful alternatives to grass that can handle being stepped on 🌿
