56세에 30만평 정원 시작! 이게 진짜 가능하다고? 가드너의 롤모델 행복한 사람, 타샤 튜더 + 110주년 기념전 [구독자 이벤트]

요즘 개인적인 일들로 영상 업로드가 많이 늦어졌어요.

5월에는 조금 더 부지런히, 자주 인사드려볼게요:)

저는 약 380평 정도의 정원을 가꾸고 있거든요.
직접 해보신 분들은 아시겠지만, 정말 손이 많이 가는 일이죠.
놀러 오신 분들도 늘 놀라세요.
“이걸 어떻게 다 관리하세요?” 하고요.

그런데 만약 30만 평의 정원이라면?
저로서는 쉽게 상상조차 되지 않는 규모입니다.

제가 오랫동안 롤모델로 삼아온 **타샤 튜더**는
56세에 버몬트에서 약 30만 평의 땅을 일구며
자신만의 정원을 가꾸기 시작했습니다.

그에 비하면 제 정원은,
타샤 할머니 정원의 아주 작은 한 조각 같은 느낌...
그래서 저는 지금도 그녀의 책들을 곁에 두고
종종 꺼내보며 많은 영감을 받고 있습니다.

이번 영상에는
행복한 사람, 타샤 튜더 책과 함께
롯데뮤지엄에서 열린 전시 이야기까지
꾹꾹 눌러 담아보았습니다.

I’m sorry that my video uploads have been a bit delayed lately due to some personal matters.
Thank you so much for your patience.
I’ll try to be more consistent and share more videos with you in May :)

I currently take care of a garden of about 380 pyeong (approx. 1,250㎡).
If you’ve ever gardened, you’ll know how much work it takes.
People who visit are always surprised and often ask,
“How do you manage all of this?”

But what if the garden were 300,000 pyeong?
Honestly, I can’t even begin to imagine that scale.

My long-time role model, Tasha Tudor,
began creating her own garden in Vermont at the age of 56,
on a vast piece of land of about 300,000 pyeong.

Compared to that, my garden feels like just a tiny corner of hers…
That’s why I still keep her books close by,
returning to them often for inspiration.

In this video,
I’ve carefully put together both
the book “The Private World of Tasha Tudor” (Korean title: Happiness of Tasha Tudor)
and my visit to the exhibition held at Lotte Museum of Art.

And thanks to the publisher Willbook,
I’m also excited to host a giveaway for my subscribers.

I hope to share a bit of inspiration and comfort
