नेपाल के विदेश मंत्री शिशिर खनाल ने उन खबरों को खारिज किया है जिनमें दावा किया गया था कि नेपाल ने अमेरिका, चीन और भारत से जलवायु मुआवजे की मांग की है. उन्होंने कहा कि नेपाल की मांग केवल यह है कि हालिया आपदा को जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभाव के रूप में देखा जाए और क्षेत्रीय तथा वैश्विक स्तर पर सहयोग बढ़ाया जाए.
