At his very first production, the laughter and quiet sniffles from the audience drew him in more
deeply than acting ever had.

"This is something I could do for a long time."
The process may feel like an ordeal, but the thrill of opening night — and the excitement of
imagining a stage from a fresh script — keeps bringing him back.
Discover the first chapter of director Byeon Young-jin's life on stage.
