In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wong tells Strange that the fate of the multiverse is in his hands, and Strange simply answers, “Okay.” Then, almost immediately, he tells Wanda that the children she is trying to reach were never really hers. Considering how emotionally unstable and powerful Wanda already was, it might have been one of the worst things he could possibly say in that moment. The multiverse really depended on Strange choosing the right words… and he absolutely did not.
