A: Is that what I think it is?

B: Oh, yeah. The new iPhone Duo.

A: Wow. I’ve seen them in pictures and videos, but this is my first time seeing one in person.

B: Yeah, I got it yesterday.

A: Can I take a look?

B: Of course.
A: It’s heavier than it looks.

B: That’s what I thought too at first.

A: You haven’t gotten a case for it yet?

B: No. I don’t think I’m going to use one.

A: Really?

B: I don’t like using cases. It just makes it heavier and bulkier.

A: Well, that’s kind of the trade-off, isn’t it? To keep it safe? What if you drop it?

B: I’m very careful with my phone(s). In fact, I’ve never dropped my phone.

A: Never?

B: Well, never to the extent that it needed to be repaired. // -- never badly enough that it needed to be repaired.

A: Don’t you sell your old phone when you get a new one?

B: No. I’ve never tried selling one before. Have you?

A: Always. / All the time. Then what do[루] you do with your old one?

B: I just give it to the people at the phone shop. Oh wait. Now that I think about it – they take my old phone and give me a discount on the new one.. I think one time they just wired me the cash.

A: Yeah. That’s the trade-in program.
B: Yeah. So, I guess I have sold my old phones before, kind of. I just never had to look for a buyer myself.

A: I suppose that’s what a lot of people do out of convenience.

B: What about you? You always find someone to sell it to?

A: Usually. If you can keep it in good condition, you can get a (pretty) decent price for it. Sometimes even twice the amount you would get with the trade-in program.

B: Really? Hm…

A: Of course it’s a lot more of a hassle because you have to look for a buyer and actually make the sale, which can be pretty stressful sometimes.
