USC Viterbi Students Launch Fourth Satellite to Space | Built for a SpaceX Mission

For nearly two years, more than 60 USC students in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering's Department of Astronautical Engineering designed, built, integrated, and tested USC's fourth satellite. Their work culminates in an unforgettable milestone: launching aboard a SpaceX rocket. This project is more than an engineering challenge. It gives students hands-on experience transforming classroom knowledge into flight-ready hardware while collaborating on a real space mission from concept to launch. Hear from the students and faculty behind the mission as they reflect on the teamwork, innovation, and excitement of seeing something they built reach orbit.
