Today’s journey takes us on an autumn evening walk under a crystal-clear, cloudless sky, capturing the gradual shift from bustling city avenues to the tranquil calm of the Han River. We begin near Hongik University Station, diving straight into the youthful energy and vibrant rhythm of Hongdae's crowded streets before moving toward the trendy avenues of Hapjeong.
As late afternoon eases toward twilight, we set out across Yanghwa Bridge just in time for golden hour. With the open river breeze and the glowing horizon stretching across Seoul, the bridge offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the sun dipping low against the skyline. Crossing the bridge brings us into the peaceful sanctuary of Seonyudo Park, where industrial heritage harmoniously coexists with lush ecological gardens. In the quiet atmosphere of the falling night, we explore the park's tranquil paths and cross the illuminated Seonyugyo footbridge, wrapping up our evening walk at Seonyudo Station.
Wandering from the spirited pace of Hongdae into the soothing stillness of an island park, every moment highlights the diverse charm of an autumn evening in Seoul. The crisp autumn air and gentle ambient sounds of the city and river offer a relaxing escape from the daily routine.
