I don't like horror movies.
R : Really? Why not? I just don't find them very entertaining.
R: OK. Fair enough. Although, I used to watch 전설의고향 as a kid. Do you remember that show?
R: Absolutely. I loved that show. So what made you watch that? I don't know. There was something about that show that made it so fun to watch.
R: There certainly was a unique quality to it. If they came out with a modern version of that show, I might give it a try.
R: Yeah, that would be amazing! But I feel like they just don't put in as much thought into horror movies as they used to.
R: That's what you say about music.
I guess there still is a place for movies like that, especially with younger people who are just looking for cheap thrills. I guess I'm just getting old.
R: Exactly. Things change. Roll with them.

I like taking baths.
R: Yeah? Me? Not so much.
It (really) helps me relax.
R: That's what my wife always says.
I didn't always enjoy it though.
R: Yeah? (그래?)
In fact, I hardly took baths when I was younger.
R: Why not?
I've only recently started taking baths on a semi-regular basis.
R: What changed?
When I was younger, I guess I was just too busy all the time and the idea of sitting in the bathtub for long periods of time was just never all that appealing to me.
R: I see. I think that's pretty much how I feel about it now.
But now, I find it to be a great way to give myself some personal time away from everything else.
R: Hmm. I've never thought of it that way. Oh~! That's why my wife always takes long baths. Plus, when you consider the added health benefits, I can't think of a better way to spend my evenings.









I've actually been enjoying wine quite a bit lately.
R: Yeah? I got some wine.
No. I'm good for now.
I used to strictly be a beer person. I would enjoy a little soju every now and then, but beer used to be my choice of drink.
R: Is that right? When did you start drinking wine?
It wasn't until quite recently that I started drinking wine. Not that I like it better. In fact, if I had to choose only one, I'd still prefer beer. But, you know, there's always the fun of trying something new. Plus, there are so many different kinds of wine to explore. And not only the wine itself, but the kinds of food that go well with it. I find that to be very fun to experiment.
