The story follows Cameron (played by Mahershala Ali), a successful artist with a happy family life, who is suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and told he has little time left. To spare his pregnant wife—who is only just recovering from the grief of losing his younger brother—from a breakdown, he makes a shocking and heart-wrenching decision: he secretly uses cutting-edge cloning technology to create a replica possessing all his memories and genes, intending for this double to take his place and continue loving his wife and child. Grappling with jealousy, fear, and a sense of injustice as another "version" of himself takes over his life, he ultimately sneaks into his home late at night to bid a silent farewell. Through this profound act involving his clone, he composes a magnificent final ode to life.
