Finding myself beyond the crown | Quỳnh Như Lê Thị | TEDxLuong The Vinh Youth

Growing up, we are often taught to measure ourselves through grades, achievements, and the people around us. For Lê Thị Quỳnh Như, that habit once made her feel as though no achievement was ever quite enough. Even when she was doing well, she was still looking sideways, wondering if she was good enough compared to everyone else. Her journey through competitions, English, and public speaking gradually taught her to see things differently: that finding yourself is not about becoming the most outstanding person in the crowd, but about understanding what makes you uniquely you. In her talk, Quỳnh Như reflects on the journey from comparison to self-discovery, and how embracing our differences can help us grow with greater confidence and purpose. Because sometimes, finding your place is not about fitting into the crowd, but finding the courage to discover who you are beyond it.
Le Thi Quynh Nhu is a student from English Specialized Class 1 at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted. She has actively challenged herself through academic and public speaking competitions, earning the Top 3 entrance score of her cohort and several notable achievements, including Champion of Cuộc Chiến Vương Quyền 2025, First Runner-up at I-Transform IV and the LTV English Speaking Contest: Speak Up Challenge 2026, as well as Silver and Bronze Medals at the National IOE.

Beyond academic achievements, Quynh Nhu is passionate about personal growth and finding her own path amid expectations and self-doubt. At TEDxYouth Luong The Vinh 2026: Harmony, she shares her journey of learning to embrace her individuality and find harmony within herself.
