This film will hit you hard 😭

Ponette follows a four-year-old girl trying to understand the death of her mother. Too young to fully grasp what loss means, she clings to the hope that her mother might somehow come back, turning grief into something painfully innocent and deeply human. The film is quiet, simple, and devastating, carried by Victoire Thivisol’s remarkably natural performance.
