German tourists embrace Chinese high-tech goods amid "China Haul" trend online

In various corners of the internet, so-called "China-hauls" are winning a lot of views.

In the videos, tourists who've just visited China show off their suitcases that are filled with products they’ve purchased during their trip.

German resident Alexander Haase has been to Beijing on four occasions over the past year, and each time, he returns with a suitcase full of devices and gadgets.

German travel industry experts have also noticed the appeal of made-in-China products with young people, especially cutting-edge technologies like robotics.

According to German travel insiders, roughly 500,000-600,000 German tourists are expected to visit China this year.
