Today is Day 1 of our Chuseok preparation, and we’re starting to get ready for one of Korea’s most important traditional holidays.
🇰🇷 WHAT IS CHUSEOK?
Chuseok (추석) is a major Korean holiday often described as a Korean harvest festival. It is a time when families traditionally come together, share food, honor their ancestors, and celebrate the harvest.
Many people travel to their hometowns to spend time with family, and food is a big part of the celebration. 🍚🥢❤️
For seafood vendors like us, the days leading up to Chuseok can mean more preparation, larger orders, gift sets, and customers looking for fresh seafood for their families and holiday meals. 🦀🐟🦑
