From China to Edinburgh to London

What comes next after completing your undergraduate degree in the UK? 🎓

For Michael, originally from China, the answer was staying in the UK to pursue a Master's at UCL.

After studying Psychology at the University of Edinburgh, Michael wanted to explore his growing interest in clinical psychology and gain practical experience working with people.

That ambition led him to the Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice MSc, where he has had the opportunity to undertake a placement at Royal Free Hospital, engage with clinical professionals and develop a clearer understanding of his future career.

But his experience has been about more than academics.

From adapting to the pace of London after living in Edinburgh to discovering new cultures, communities and opportunities, Michael reflects on the personal and professional growth that has come with continuing his studies.

Hear Michael's perspective on studying a Master's in London and why he believes the experience has been worth it.
