Ep.39 [K-NOW] Artifacts Come to Life? 2026 National Museum Costume Play

Cultural heritage once resting behind museum glass comes alive and steps into the spotlight!

This episode of K-NOW heads to the Open Plaza of the National Museum of Korea for the finals of the 2026 National Museum Costume Play, held on September 19.

After making a huge splash last year as the Costume Contest, the event returns with a new name and a new spirit. Now called Costume Play, it moves beyond competition to focus on creativity, participation, and fun, with 14 national museums across Korea taking part.

Out of 275 teams and 643 participants nationwide, just 25 teams made it through the preliminaries and four regional rounds to reach the finals.

From wildly creative runway looks to the stories behind each transformation, discover how museum artifacts were brought to life in ways you’ve never seen before!

박물관 유리관 속에 잠들어 있던 문화유산들이 살아서 걸어 나온다!

이번 주 K-NOW에서는 지난 19일
국립중앙박물관 열린마당을 뜨겁게 달군 화제의 현장
《2026 국중박 분장놀이 전국편》 결선 무대를 전격 만나본다.

지난해 폭발적인 화제를 모았던 ‘분장대회’가
올해는 경쟁을 넘어 다 함께 유쾌하게 어우러지는
‘분장놀이’로 이름을 바꾸고
전국 14개 국립박물관이 참여하는 역대급 스케일로 돌아왔다.

전국 275개 팀(643명)의 치열한 예선과
4대 권역 본선을 뚫고 선발된 최종 25팀의
기상천외한 런웨이와 숨은 비하인드를 지금 바로 공개한다!
