Newly unsealed police body camera video is providing a new look at the arrest of Luigi Mangione and the recovery of evidence tied to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Hours of body camera footage from Altoona police officers involved in Mangione's arrest were released overnight by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
The footage shows officers approaching Mangione inside a McDonald's in Pennsylvania and directing him to place his hands against a wall. Police said Mangione initially provided a fake identification before revealing his identity.
Officers then handcuffed Mangione and recovered a gun magazine from his backpack, according to authorities.
Darla Miles has the details on the newly released footage of Luigi Mangione. https://abc7ny.com/story/newly-released-video-shows-luigi-mangione-arrest-evidence-search/19901027/
