2026년 9월17일,
금천미술벨트 "공동의 지형, 이어진 시간"과
금천예술공장 오픈스튜디오 "에코톤(Ecotone): 겹치는 파동, 확장하는 영역"을 개최했습니다.

이번 금천미술벨트는 금천예술공장, 금천구, 금천문화재단, 범일운수종점 Tiger1, 서울시립 서서울미술관, 아트센터예술의시간이 함께했습니다. 일상의 장소와 거리에서 예술을 만나는 ‘공공미술 프로젝트’, 협력기관의 주요 전시를 둘러보는 ‘아트 투어버스’, 금천미술벨트의 내일을 함께 그려보는 ‘라운드테이블’ 등 다양한 프로그램으로 금천 곳곳을 연결했습니다.

금천예술공장에서는 17기 입주작가 16명과 함께 "에코톤(Ecotone): 겹치는 파동, 확장하는 영역"이라는 주제로 3일 간 오픈스튜디오를 열어 다양한 프로그램을 선보였습니다.
서로 다른 환경이 만나 새로운 관계와 변화를 만들어내는 공간을 뜻하는 ‘에코톤’처럼 저마다의 매체와 감각을 지닌 작가들의 창작이 한 공간에서 어떻게 변화하고 확장되는지 볼 수 있는 시간이었는데요.

2026 Geumcheon Art Belt · SASG Open Studio — Event Highlights

On September 17, 2026, we held
Geumcheon Art Belt and Seoul Art Space Geumcheon Open Studio "Ecotone".

2026 Geumcheon Art Belt brought together SASG(Seoul Art Space Geumcheon), Geumcheon-gu, Geumcheon Arts&Culture Foundation, Artistrunspace_Tiger1, Seo-Seoul Museum of Art, and Art Centre Art Moment. Through a range of programs, it connected spaces throughout Geumcheon: ‘the Public Art Project’ invited people to encounter art in everyday places and streets; ‘the Art Tour Bus’ took visitors on a tour of exhibitions organized by partner institutions; and ‘the Roundtable Discussion’ explored the future of Geumcheon Art Belt.

At SASG, we hosted a three-day Open Studio event with 16 artists from the 17th residency cohort under the theme "Ecotone". Inspired by the idea of an ecotone—a space where different environments meet and new relationships and changes emerge—the event offered a glimpse into how artistic practices shaped by diverse media and sensibilities evolve and expand within a shared space.
