Foreign Minister Cho Hyun says the delay in announcing South Korea's first U.S. investment project is NOT due to differences between Seoul and Washington but rather to ensure that domestic procedural matters are properly addressed.
Remarks to this end were shared during a press conference at Incheon International Airport on this Thursday prior to his departure to Washington, D.C.
In response to questions over the potential deployment of South Korean soldiers to the Strait of Hormuz he reaffirmed that no decision had been made.
He added that while Seoul intends to pursue international partnership its priorities are citizen safety and freedom of navigation across the Strait of Hormuz.
