Relevant authorities say the impact of the Federal Reserve's rate hike will be limited as it has already been priced into the local market.

The U.S. Federal Reserve on Wednesday raised its benchmark interest rate by a quarter percentage point to combat inflation, marking the first hike since July 2023.
However, South Korean financial authorities have assessed that this move would have limited impact on domestic financial markets as the adjustment has already been reflected in market prices.
The analysis was made during a meeting on Thursday of the so-called economic and financial "F4."
Led by Finance Minister Koo Yun-cheol, the F4 includes Bank of Korea Governor Shin Hyun-song, Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Eog-weon and Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Chan-jin.
The F4 also assesses that volatility in the government bond market has been increasing due to changes in external conditions, and added that they agreed to closely monitor upcoming monetary policy decisions by the Bank of Japan and the Bank of England scheduled for this week, and take market stabilization measures if necessary.
Overnight, the Fed decided to increase the rate to the 3-point-7-5-to 4 percent range in a unanimous 12-zero vote, despite U.S. President Donald Trump's repeated calls for the central bank to lower borrowing costs to boost the economy.
There remains an indication of a possible additional increase later this year.
With the latest increase, the gap between the key interest rates of South Korea and the United States has risen to 1 percentage point.
Finance Minister Koo, ahead of his retirement, requested that, based on the cooperative system built by the economic and financial team thus far, related authorities respond promptly and organically.
On this day, the National Assembly's Strategy and Finance Committee adopted the hearing report for nominee Lee Hyung-il for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance.
