공예는 완성된 결과물만이 아니라 함께 만들어가는 과정에서도 존재합니다. 손을 움직이고, 재료를 만지고, 누군가와 같은 시간을 나누는 일 또한 공예입니다. 이 프로젝트는 여러분의 손끝으로 전시를 함께 완성해 가는 자리입니다. 누군가의 일상에서 쓰이던 섬유는 새로운 형태로 다시 태어나고, 오늘의 감정과 기억은 하나의 부드러운 조각이 되어 다른 사람들의 이야기와 연결됩니다. 전시와 연계하여 진행되는 인영혜 작가의 시민 참여 프로젝트는 공예를 감상의 대상으로만 두지 않고, 여러분이 직접 관계를 만들고 기억을 쌓아가는 과정으로 확장합니다. 이번 프로젝트는 공예가 사람과 사람을 연결하고 공동체를 형성하는 살아 있는 문화임을 보여주는 자리가 될 것입니다.
Craft exists not only as finished objects but also in the act of making together. It lives within the movement of the hand, in the touch of materials,
and in shared time. Here, you become part of the exhibition, completing it with your own hands. A piece of fabric once used during someone’s everyday life is reborn in a new form, while today’s emotions and memories become a soft fragment connecting with the stories of others. Carried out in conjunction with the exhibition, artist In Yeonghye’s Community Project expands craft beyond an object of appreciation into a process of building relationships and making memories. This project demonstrates how craft serves as a living cultural practice-one that forges connections between people and nurtures community.
