Solution: Huntington began on a year-long transformation journey with Deloitte and Google Cloud, unlocking transaction data from legacy payment platforms using Deloitte's Data Assist solution. This platform processes billions of transactions at 25,000+ events per second, handling 900+ files daily and 500+ out-of-sequence event scenarios from decoupled maintenance systems. Google Cloud technologies — including Dataflow, BigTable for high-speed caching, and Apigee for API management — enable real-time data access.

Result: Through this collaboration, Huntington National Bank now has a platform that processes millions of transactions daily, enabling near-real-time access for corporate clients to make timely decisions. By decoupling from core systems and storing data in a high-speed cache available 24/7, the bank transformed from traditional service provider to software-as-a-service partner. Transaction data is now productized for monetization, with high reusability across treasury, consumer, and commercial business lines.
