Haaland Didn’t Listen To Zlatan… 😂⚽

Erling Haaland just shocked the football world by cutting off his iconic long blonde hair and revealing a completely new buzz cut for the start of the 2026/27 season. Before making the transformation, the Manchester City and Norway superstar remembered advice from legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimović, who once told Haaland to never cut his hair because his “strength is in the hair.” Zlatan later explained that he believed the same thing about his own famous ponytail during his playing career. Haaland decided it was finally time for a fresh start anyway, chopping off the Viking-style hair that had become one of his trademarks and going for an extremely short, military-inspired buzz cut. After the transformation, Haaland FaceTimed Zlatan to reveal the new look, and Zlatan immediately asked if he had lost a bet before jokingly telling him to block him and erase his number. Haaland had no regrets, joking that “the Vikings always cut it short.” The hilarious moment shows another side of Erling Haaland, one of the biggest superstars in world football and one of the most dominant strikers of his generation. Since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, the Norwegian goalscorer has become a Premier League superstar, Champions League winner, Golden Boot winner and record-breaking goal scorer known for his incredible speed, strength, finishing, athleticism and unforgettable celebrations.
